Together, we can make a difference
The Fraser Valley Watersheds Coalition (FVWC) offers many ways to contribute to the health of our watersheds and communities—whether through your time, skills, support, or resources. Join us in making a lasting impact.
When you become a member of the Fraser Valley Watersheds Coalition you will help us take actions to conserve, restore and enhance local watersheds and continue to “dig in and do good work”. Becoming a member is an investment in our rivers, wetlands, fish, wildlife and communities. It is an investment that can sustain our social well-being and economic prosperity.
As a member, you are entitled to participate at our community events, attend our free workshops and training seminars with our board and professional staff and receive our e-newsletter. In addition, you are eligible to be nominated for a director role and cast a vote at our Annual General Meeting. Becoming a member is a great way to stay connected, learn and share about watershed matters that are most important to you!
Membership dues are used to support FVWC’s mission to foster watershed stewardship in the Fraser Valley. A small portion will be used for administration (insurance, registration fees, etc.) and the rest goes towards the Watershed Program for active habitat restoration and hands-on activities (creating new waterways, planting trees and shrubs, monitoring water quality, etc.), and purchasing tools and equipment for our volunteers and staff.
Joining the Fraser Valley Watersheds Coalition (FVWC) is more than just signing up—it’s a commitment to protecting and restoring the rivers, wetlands, and wildlife that make our community thrive.

🌱 “5,000+ Trees Planted with Member Support”
We rely on the generosity of our community to bring our watershed projects to life, from planting trees to restoring salmon habitat and hosting local outreach events. Whether it’s a one-time or monthly donation, your support makes a tangible difference.
As a registered charity, we provide tax receipts for eligible donations. You can give financially, donate in-kind goods, or even support through professional services.
Sometimes our projects require specialized skills, to help us achieve specific aspects of our projects/goals. If you have expertise you’d like to offer, we’d love to know.
Even if we don’t have an immediate opportunity, knowing who we can reach out to in the future makes a big difference. Donated professional services may also qualify for a charitable tax receipt.
If you are willing to donate some or all of your expertise, email us at info@fvwc.ca with a brief description of your background and how you’d like to help.
