Wetlands Tree and Shrub Planting - (Mission BC)

Freshwater tidal estuaries shrub planting and water quality monitoring - (Mission BC)

Details: Learn how tidal estuaries function, learn about archaeology, what the process is in BC to building a wetland, invasive plant species, local bird identification practice, and assist in the planting of native vegetation to support salmon habitat.
UPDATE: We are pausing tree planting based on the unprecedented heat and dry weather we are experiencing. (We need to plant these trees concurrently with the fall rains). We anticipate rescheduling planting events for early November. Thank you for your understanding. If you want to still volunteer, please contact Rachel@fvwc.ca to be added to the list.
